Current Crop Update:
🫐 Blueberries
Our blueberry crop is looking beautiful, and picking continues to be great.
🫐 Black Currants
The black currants are also looking great and will continue to be available while the crop lasts.
🍓 Late-Season Strawberries (Malwina Variety)
Our late-season strawberries are still producing-with light picking conditions. (We recommend a smaller basket for fresh eating rather than trying to stock your freezer) With only 19 rows of this beautiful, deep red, flavourful variety, availability is limited, but they continue to provide one last opportunity for strawberry picking this season. - THIS PATCH MAY CLOSE BY 10AM if we get lots of visitors on Wednesday.
❤️ Red Raspberries
Our raspberry season has finished however, if you don't mind a bit of hard work, you are still welcome to pick when the farm is open next week-there are still some nice berries but it will be work to fill a container.
🖤 Black Raspberries
Available for sale only. We do not offer Pick-Your-Own black raspberries.*This crop will likely come to an end this week.
🌻 Sunflowers
Fresh bouquets are available for purchase at the raspberry tent or strawberry booth when we are open for pick your own this week.
🍯 Farm Stand
Preserves and 500 g jars of honey are available at the farm stand. Our 1 kg honey jars will be back in stock as soon as our new jars arrive.
🫛 Peas
Finished for the season.
Please Note

There are no longer tractor and wagon rides to the strawberry field. at this point in the season. Please park and enjoy the short walk to the picking fields. There are signs to direct you to either the blueberry or strawberry patch.

We expect to continue Pick-Your-Own this week, likely Wednesday, and Friday, with morning picking hours. As always, our schedule will depend on crop conditions, weather and availability, so please check our website or phone message before visiting.

Picking Hours
Our strawberry fields are open seasonally (mainly mid-June to early July). For the most up-to-date hours, please check our today's conditions page or our social media channels. We update them regularly!

Pick-Your-Own Strawberries:

🍓 Overfilled/ heaping 4L basket = $2 extra: $17

A level basket is filled even with the top. If you pile your berries above the rim, we'll simply round up to the heaping basket price.

Feel free to bring your own baskets from previous years or other farms! They must be clearly marked in litres by the manufacturer.

Ready Picked Strawberries

We do not take orders, reserve or holds for ready-picked strawberries.
How to Pick Like a Pro

Pick with two fingers. Gently pinch the stem above the berry leaving the hull intact for ultimate freshness.

Look under the leaves. The best berries are often hidden!

Choose fully red berries. Avoid berries that are still green or white.

Be gentle. Ripe strawberries bruise easily.
Storing Your Strawberries

Fridge:
-
Do not wash until ready to eat.

Use a shallow container.
-
Place a paper towel at the bottom to absorb moisture.

Loosely cover the container.
-
Strawberries stored this way should last 2-3 days.

Freezing:

Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.

Remove the stems.
-
Freeze the berries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Once frozen, transfer them to freezer bags.

Frozen strawberries are great for smoothies, baking, and jam!
