Sunday, July 25th, 2021 - Rain or shine!
We are open today for blueberry picking from 9am-2pm. Please plan to arrive at the farm by no later than 1:30pm in order to have your baskets filled by our 2pm closing time. The grass in the parking area and between the rows will be damp first thing this morning due to the rain overnight. It may be a good idea to wear old shoes if coming out first thing this morning.
We are also planning to be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week 8am-12pm. (Saturday and Sunday TBA closer to the end of the week) Our hours can change due to weather or crop conditions, please check back here on this blog, or phone 613-548-3378 before heading out the door to avoid any disappointment. We update daily by 6am.
Blueberry season is coming into it's final week -10 days so don't wait too much longer to get here! These are half height blueberry bushes and the berries are closer in size to wild blueberries rather than high bush cultivated kind. You will need some patience to pick these. We charge by the litre or pint and you may bring your own containers if they are ones you have already gotten from us or are clearly marked with litres. We can also provide you with containers here. We have a limited number of milk crates you may use to sit on or feel free to bring your own chair as the bushes average in height from 3-4ft. You may also order small quantities of ready picked blueberries by phoning or e-mailing us. *Please note we can not typically accommodate same day requests as we often don't get to checking our e-mail or phone messages until after we are closed for the day.
Sunflowers bunches are available for sale when the farm is open for pick your own! $5 for a bunch of 8-10.
Strawberries are finished for this season.
Raspberries are finished for this season. If you are still interested in picking you own raspberries, Paulridge Berry Farm has some picking time available on Monday!
Our prices and general info can be found here.
We update this blog and our phone message (613-548-3378) daily by 6am daily so you can find out what's going on. Please make a habit of checking before you head out the door as hours can change due to weather or crop conditions.
